Apple Program

Apple Program

Adam’s Apples Foundation started in 2015 as one bowl of apples at Adam’s school in Vancouver; today, there are Apple Axis Points in 27 schools and community centres across the Lower Mainland. Apple bowls are strategically placed to create a safe place where students can share a healthy snack, start a conversation, and connect with one another. Our apple bowls are filled weekly throughout the school year to help facilitate a safe and inclusive space for youth to feel supported by their peers and create meaningful connections. According to Dr. Muffy Greenaway, “although it may seem simple, the impact of one apple, leading to one connection, can be a turning point for one student who is struggling”.
